Our house is situated in the capital city of sunny Queensland, Brisbane.
It is a classic queenslander style house with polished floors and large outdoor areas to sit and enjoy. With a big deck out the back and smaller one out the front of the house, there is ample room to enjoy the fresh air and the sun in this small and comfortable city.
The house has three good sized bedrooms, one bathroom and a newly renovated kitchen.
The small backyard and front garden is full of australian native trees and plants which are inviting to the native birds and wildlife in the area. We often have possoms visit us as well as the rare owls and australian bush turkeys.
Paddington is a Residential area in Brisbane, only 7 minutes drive from the main part of the city. It is a very safe and friendly area with lots of trees and parks to enjoy the outdoors. The neighbours are very good people.
It is about a 45 minute drive south to the Gold Coast Beaches and about a 50 minute drive north to the North Coast Beaches. These spectacular white sandy beaches will satisfy any ocean enthusiest, swimmer, surfer, or beach walker.
There are lots of walking tracks through the mountains and past waterfalls nearby Brisbane, including the closest only a 20 minute drive, Mt Nebo, with wonderful views of Brisbane City from the top.
we are interested anytime in 2005 or 2006, but we are open to exchanges outside those dates also.
We are very interested in coastal Spain, but we are up for offers to anywhere.
